Update - Getting to Certain Free Websites for Decorations
I had the pleasure of talking with the principal today. I told her about the problems I had last year of getting to certain websites that have free decorations. The Baltimore City Public Schools computer system have pretty strong filters. (This is a VERY good thing!) Even if there are certain "work-arounds" to get to those sites, I'm planning on loading some of the information needed off of those sites onto my flash drive.
The big surprise that I'm planning on is to have the students have their own domain names for their websites. This should add a personal touch as well as ownership to what they're trying to accomplish. ( Instead of having foundation.webdesignforkids slash this, slash that, it will be www.JoeHenderson.com or something similar!)
